in the paper industry:
During a session organized at La petite merveille, our participants immersed themselves in the challenge of attracting talent. Led by our serious playexperts, this workshop was designed to encourage action. During the ideation process, they came up with the idea of revolutionizing their approach to recruitment. Let’s explore the reasons behind this revolution.
Situation
Let’s imagine a company seeking to improve its working environment and stimulate employee commitment. To this end, it has initiated a Serious Play session, aimed at readjusting the company’s strategic direction. The aim is to capture employees’ desires, concerns and ideas in terms of attractiveness, using collective intelligence. Encourage innovation while identifying potential obstacles and reservations.
Workshop procedure
Before moving on to consider what tomorrow’s company might look like, it was important to initiate a creative situation for the participants. We start with an Icebreaker, followed by a time of inclusion to think about common objectives, in confrontation with individual objectives. This training in collective intelligence is followed by further exchanges using the Lego Serious Play Method and Thiagi’s framework games.
Participants had the opportunity to simulate the process of putting development ideas into action, exchange mentoring methods and build career progression paths for their future talents.
Through creative Serious Play sessions, the aim was to readjust the company’s strategic direction and capture the desires, concerns and ideas of its employees. The aim was to encourage innovation, while identifying potential obstacles and reservations.
Teams brainstormed about what could be optimized, about customizable benefits packages, considering the varied expectations of new talent. A lively discussion helped to assess the benefits of these changes, while taking into account the realities of the company.

The participants experienced our workshop not only as a learning session, but above all as a real wake-up call about the gaps and opportunities they had previously been letting slip through their fingers. Through this experience, they were able to identify, in a concrete and practical way, the areas for improvement to be implemented in their HR strategy at both strategic and management levels, as well as at individual level.
Case study of one of our customers
operating in the security and identification technology sector:
Situation
This company was looking to set up an employee ambassador program to put into practice the core values developed during the COVID period. Although these values had been communicated to all employees, they had never been put into practice. It was therefore essential for our customer to put them into action, to integrate them concretely into all the company’s day-to-day actions. The key issue was how these values could be adopted and embodied within the company.
Workshop sequence
To make this initiative a reality, we chose to introduce the Thiagi Executive Games, which opened the way for in-depth reflection on how to bring these values to life in our day-to-day work. Each of us, at our own level, was able to draw inspiration from our missions to test these same values and question our own practices.
Feedback from employees has been extremely positive. They expressed a growing desire for alignment with the company’s values. This underlined the importance, during the recruitment process, of sharing and clearly communicating these values. In addition, the issue of multiple interpretations of values was raised. To avoid errors of embodiment, it is and will be essential to work with teams to collectively define the “how to be” in order to live these shared values over time.
